The next two years, we will collaboratively research and develop bio-based sizings for basalt fibers tailored for maritime and offshore applications, especially for scour protection systems.

Starting with a successful test installation in 2020, the project was gradually scaled up. In March 2024, we mobilised the first batch of equipment for what has become the largest noise mitigation project in the history of Jaeger Maritime Solutions.

Filling process of more than 350 basalt nets for a wind park project in Germany completed. Normally, these nets are used to support offshore and coastal structures. In the current project, the nets will be deployed as cable protection.
